There is no guarantee that a local arts organization will survive in this economic climate, where federal, state, and local funding is floundering. We need and value your support. The costs associated with performances are significantly higher than the revenue from ticket sales.

Professional productions require significant resources: dancers train daily and need full-time salaries and healthcare, pointe shoes can cost hundreds per season, live orchestras of nearly 50 musicians average about $16,000 per performance, and theatre and stagehand costs exceed $32,000 per show.
why
Performances are only one aspect. Through its outreach and programming, TTB nurtures young dancers from all economic backgrounds with no-cost instruction, offers discounted performances for schoolchildren, supports artists in their careers, and provides a safe, empowering space for young people to build confidence and community.
