THEME: Everything Dances. The Tallahassee Ballet aspires to the theory that everything in life has movement. “The Rhythm of Life Is Beautiful.”
We invite area artists to present works that depict this concept. Whether it is willow trees swaying in the breeze, the likeness of dancers, musicians, and/or instruments, or an abstract concept—we would love to see your interpretation of EVERYTHING DANCES.

 

FORMATS ACCEPTED: Paintings, drawings, sculptures, photography 

 

ELIGIBILITY

• Artists may submit up to 3 artworks for consideration

• Artists must be 18 years or older

• Artists must be able to deliver artwork in person; we cannot accommodate shipped artwork at this time.

 

PRESENTATION MODE

• Paintings and photography on easels or hung on walls

• Sculptures on columns or draped tables 

• Provide your own presentation mode or coordinate with TTB staff in advance.

 

SALE OPPORTUNITY
Artists are welcome to affix a price to their work. Otherwise, they can state NFS (Not for Sale). If the piece sells at the event, TTB would welcome a 15% donation. TTB will connect buyers directly with artists to complete the sale. Artists are welcome to explain/speak about (at one or all performances) their artwork throughout the portion of the evening that the patrons are browsing and mingling, however they are not required to do so.

 

SIZE REQUIREMENTS: Must be able to fit through a typically sized door.
