Summer classes (held over six weeks in the evenings) in Ballet, Jazz, Pre-pointe, Creative Movement, Mommy & Me, and more provide emerging dancers the opportunity to stay on track with their progression to the next level. Classes 1 hour or less = $130 one-time payment for the full 6-week session; Classes over 1 hour = $160 one-time payment for the full 6-week session. Enrollment in The Tallahassee Ballet School classes is limited. Registration is offered on a first-come, first-served basis. Early enrollment is encouraged. The dress code is adhered to.

2025 summer classes (six-week session)
Ages 7 and younger
Ages 18mo.-2yrs.
Mommy (My Adult) & Me
This 45-minute class is perfect for mothers, dads, and other caregivers who want to exercise and bond with their little ones.
Ages 3-4 yrs
Creative Movement
A bubbly, fun class for young dancers without parental participation.
Ages 4-7

Primary A/B Ballet
Introduces students to the foundational skills and vocabulary of ballet. -
​Primary Ballet/Tap
A combination class. -
Primary Ballet/Jazz
A combination class.
Ages 7+

Level 1 Ballet
Must be invited to the Student Division by the School Administrative Staff or a new beginner between the ages of 7-11 years old. -
Level 1 Jazz
This class includes fun choreography combinations to up-beat music! -
Level ½ Lyrical/Jazz
Lyrical is an expressive type of dance that combines the art of ballet and jazz.
Age 9+
(Placement Required)

Level 2/3 Ballet​
A minimum of two years of prior experience. Prepares dancers to audition for TTB’s Youth Company. -
Level 4/5 Ballet
An advanced class. -
Pointe Technique and Variations
By Placement Only. For dancers ready to advance their pointe work (minimum of 1 full year of pointe experience required). -
Contemporary
Incorporating aspects of movement from several other genres, such as jazz, modern, and ballet. -
Pre-Pointe
Ages 9 and older with a minimum of three years of classical ballet experience.
Open Division

Teen Beginning Ballet
For dancers ages 12-18 wishing to begin ballet for the first time or return in a slow-paced environment. -
Pointe Technique for Adults
A pointe/pre-pointe class designed specifically for Adult students. Students must also be enrolled in a ballet class to be considered eligible. -
Introduction to Contemporary
For dancers of all abilities ages 10+.
