Ages 7+

Level 1 Ballet

This bright and disciplined ballet class introduces basic classical movements while progressing strength and rhythmic skills. Ballet vocabulary and technique are taught through both barre and center work, including movements across the floor.

Must be invited to the Student Division by the School Administrative Staff or a new beginner between the ages of 7-11 years old.

Jazz Level 1/2

This class is designed for young dancers who would like to add another type of dance to their vocabulary. This class will build strength, technique, movement quality, rhythm, balance, and performance skills by introducing students to classical jazz vocabulary and conditioning. It includes a warm-up, across-the-floor exercises, and a fun choreography combination to up-beat music!

Jazz Level 2

This jazz class is designed for dancers who would like to further their jazz vocabulary. This class will build strength, technique, movement quality, rhythm, balance, and performance skills by reinforcing classical jazz vocabulary and conditioning. It will include a warm-up, across-the-floor exercises, and a fun choreography combination. Must be at least 9 years old.  Dancers preferred to be second-year Level 2 Ballet others may enroll as an intermediate level class (minimum two years of dance experience).

Ballet​

Level 2 and 3 Ballet Classes are designed for students with a minimum of two years of prior experience wanting to develop and strengthen their ballet skills with aspirations of pointe work and auditioning for TTB’s Youth Company. Ballet vocabulary and technique is taught through barre and center floor work, including combinations across the floor. These classes also begin to bring attention to the artistry of ballet movement and fluidly connecting steps, as well as preparing young dancers for auditions and performances. Ages are taken into consideration; however, students will be considered for these levels according to individual experience and progress in obtaining technique, strength, and flexibility appropriate to Level 2 or 3.

  • Tuesday – 5:45-6:30pm

  • Thursday – 3:45-5:00pm

  • Friday – 5:00-6:15pm

Level 3, Student Division

  • Monday – 4:45-6:15pm

  • Thursday – 6:30-8:00pm

Contemporary

Contemporary is an important genre of dance performed in societies around the world, celebrated by people both young and old. Developed during the 20th century, contemporary dance involves incorporating aspects of movement from several other genres, such as jazz, modern, and ballet.

Level 3, Student Division

Tuesday – 7:00-8:15pm

Jazz

Level 3, Student Division
This jazz class is designed for dancers who would like to further their jazz vocabulary. This class will build strength, technique, movement quality, rhythm, balance, and jump by progressing students in classical jazz vocabulary and conditioning. It will include a warm-up, across the floor exercises, and a fun choreography combination that will be a culmination of each class's content. Ages are taken into consideration however, students will be considered for this level according to individual progress in obtaining technique, strength, flexibility, and the execution of the jazz vocabulary.

Thursday – 5:00-6:15pm

Level 3 dancers

Ages 12+ yrs

Teen Beginning Ballet

A Student Division Ballet class for dancers ages 12-18 wishing to begin ballet for the first time or return in a slow-paced environment!

Wednesday – 6:45-7:45pm

Conditioning

Conditioning classes feature the Progressing Ballet Technique™ method. Our innovative classes are designed for beginning, intermediate and advanced students and work to assist dancers in understanding the depth of training in their muscle memory to achieve their personal best in ballet while reducing the risk of injuries. PBT focuses on increasing core stability, strength, flexibility and overall improved technique. Pilates matwork and resistance training are also incorporated. Must be at least 10 years old. Required Equipment: Fit Ball (size based on dancer's height), Fusion Ball (9"), and Yoga Mat.
Wednesday – 6:00-6:45pm

Jazz Level 2

This jazz class is designed for dancers who would like to further their jazz vocabulary. This class will build strength, technique, movement quality, rhythm, balance, and performance skills by reinforcing classical jazz vocabulary and conditioning. It will include a warm-up, across the floor exercises, and a fun choreography combination. Must be at least 9 years old. Dancers preferred to be second-year Level 2 Ballet others may enroll as an intermediate level class (minimum two years of dance experience).

Wednesday – 5:00-6:00pm

Lyrical Level 2/3

Lyrical is an expressive type of dance that combines the art of ballet and jazz. The style of lyrical prepares dancers to transition between the styles of Ballet and Contemporary. The class consists of warm-up exercises on the floor and standing, as well as movement across the floor. Class culminates in the practice of choreography and artistry as well as improvisational skills. Must be at least 9 years old.  Dancers preferred to be in Level 2 or 3 Ballet classes. Others allowed to register as a beginner/intermediate class (minimum one year of dance experience). 

Monday – 3:45-4:45pm

Class Registration for 2025-26 will open April 2025.
