TTBS faculty members follow the ABT® National Training Curriculum with Kara Griffin, Sarah Krazit, and Meagan Helman, ABT® Certified in Pre-Primary through Level 3 of the ABT® National Training Curriculum. Lauren Hernandez is fully certified through Level 7.

Primary Scarf
PRIMARY DIVISION

TTBS Primary Division features classes that combine Movement and Music. This helps students develop coordination, body awareness, rhythm, flexibility, and self-confidence, while learning dance vocabulary. As classes progress, students are introduced to foundational dance steps and terminology. All classes participate in Showcase.

mommy & me class

Mommy/My Adult & Me
Ages 18mo.–3yrs.

Take a fun class with your little one! Introduce them to the magic of dance while enjoying the company of other moms and babies in our studio. This 45-minute class focuses on coordination, direction, balance, dance movement, and rhythm concepts that are great for early development of kinetic skills. It will also introduce discipline to your little one while they learn to dance alongside other students. This class is perfect for caregivers to enjoy exercise and bonding with their little one.

Morning Classes

  • Tuesday: 10-10:45am

  • Saturday: 9:15-10am

Afternoon/Evening Classes

  • Tuesday: 3-3:45pm

  • Thursday: 5:30-6:15pm

Creative Movement
Ages 3–4yrs.

A bubbly, fun class for young dancers without parental participation. Class consists of movement activities meant to develop coordination, direction, balance, and rhythm through fantasy and the utilization of colorful props. A perfect preparation for our Primary Level class, as it introduces some very basic ballet vocabulary in a creative setting for your child’s imagination.

  • Monday: 4:45-5:30pm

  • Tuesday: 3:45-4:30pm

  • Friday: 5:30-6:15pm

  • Saturday: 9:15-10am

Primary Level A
Ages 4–5yrs.

Ballet

This lively ballet class for the young dancer focuses on coordination, balance, rhythm, flexibility, basic kinesthetic skills, and creative expression through dance. The class is set to classical music and will introduce students to the foundational skills and vocabulary of ballet. conditioning. It will include a warm-up, across-the-floor exercises,

Primary Level B
Ages 5.5–7yrs.

Ballet

Young dancers are engaged in a ballet class that focuses on progressing coordination, balance, rhythm, flexibility, basic kinetic skills, and creative expression through dance. The class is set to classical music, reinforces the foundational skills of ballet, and expands the vocabulary of ballet.

  • Monday 3:45-4:45pm

Other Styles
Ages 4-8yrs.

Ballet/Tap

Strength, coordination, flexibility, rhythmic skills, and diverse performance skills through both classical ballet vocabulary and the percussive influences of American tap are built in this fun combination class. 

 

Ballet/Jazz

This combination ballet and jazz class will build strength, coordination, flexibility, rhythmic, and diverse performance skills through both classical ballet vocabulary and the rhythmic influences of jazz. 

 

Jazz

This exciting jazz class is designed for young dancers who would like to add another style of dance to their vocabulary. This class will build strength, technique, movement quality, rhythm, balance, and performance by introducing students to classical jazz vocabulary and conditioning. It will include a warm-up, across-the-floor exercises, and a fun choreography combination to upbeat music.

Level A/B, Ballet/Tap (ages 4–7)

  • Tuesday: 3:45-4:45pm

  • Saturday: 9-10am 4–7

Level B, Ballet/Jazz (5.5–7)

  • Thursday: 4-5pm

  • Friday: 4:30-5:30pm

Introductory Jazz (5–8)

  • Wednesday: 4-4:45pm
