BALLET:
Open Ballet classes are for seasoned dancers, new beginners, and returning students.

Adult True Beginner (Level 1/2) classes are for any adult dancers with little-to-no prior experience! This class will incorporate barre, center and across-the-floor exercises taught at a slow pace. Ballet terminology, musicality, technique will be clearly explained, demonstrated, and reinforced over the course of the session. Students will have the option to graduate into an intermediate-level class following six weeks of attendance.

Open Intermediate (Level 2/3) classes build on the established foundations of Ballet terminology and technique while moving through a slightly faster-paced class.

Open Advanced (Level 4/5) classes are catered toward seasoned dancers ready for a fast-paced class with a lower level of demonstration.

Adult Introductory Pointe class is by invitation only for dancers who are fully prepared to begin pointe work or wish to progress into pointe work in the future. The class will focus on the fundamentals of pointe work while building the strength necessary to progress en pointe. The class will include mainly barre work and will eventually advance to combinations in the center. Dancers must be enrolled in the Open Int./Adv. TAP:
Tap is a percussive style of dance that challenges and grows musicality, rhythm, coordination, and balance. This class will introduce foundational steps and techniques.
Dancers in open classes may wear any attire that is comfortable for movement and exercise. Form-fitting attire and hair secured out of the face are highly encouraged. Tap shoes required. No street shoes in the studio!
