TTBS faculty members follow the ABT® National Training Curriculum with Kara Griffin, Sarah Krazit, and Meagan Helman, ABT® Certified in Pre-Primary through Level 3 of the ABT® National Training Curriculum. Lauren Hernandez is fully certified through Level 7.

OPEN DIVISION
TTBS Open Ballet Division offers self-registering classes for seasoned dancers, new beginners, and returning students
ages 13 through adults, without performance obligation.
Classes will remain open for enrollment year-round. All classes are drop-in eligible (aside from Pre-Pointe Intro./Pre-Pointe). Dancers in open classes may wear any attire that is comfortable for movement and exercise.
Form-fitting attire and hair secured out of the face are highly encouraged. Tap shoes are required for tap class. No street shoes in the studio!

Open True Beginner
These classes are for dancers with little to no prior experience! This class will incorporate barre, center, and across-the-floor exercises taught at a slow pace. Ballet terminology, musicality, and technique will be clearly explained, demonstrated, and reinforced over the course of the session. Adult students will have the option to advance to an intermediate-level class after six weeks of attendance. A separate Teen option is available with a performance opportunity within the Student Division.

Open Advancing Ballet Classes: Intermediate & Advanced
These classes build on the established foundations of ballet terminology and technique, offering a moderately paced curriculum for intermediate students and more challenging, technically demanding work for advanced dancers.

Open Adult Introductory/Pre-Pointe (Ages 17+)
This class is by invitation only for dancers who are fully prepared to begin pointe work or wish to progress into pointe work in the future (may be taken on flat as pre-pointe). The class will focus on the fundamentals of pointe work while building the strength necessary to progress en pointe. The class will mainly include barre work and will eventually advance to combinations in the center. This class is a co-requisite to the Open Int./Adv. Ballet Friday class.

This class is for any dancers ages 50+ seeking a gentle approach to the foundations of Ballet terminology and technique! This class will incorporate barre, center, and across-the-floor exercises taught at a slower pace.

Tap is a percussive style of dance that challenges and grows musicality, rhythm, coordination, and balance. This class will introduce foundational steps and techniques. Tap shoes required.

DROP-IN
We now offer a “Drop-In” style format to some of our Open Adult Ballet Classes! For $28 per class, you now have the flexibility to fit Ballet into your schedule! Come when you can, skip when you need!
Drop-In Procedures:

New families/students will need to register in our Parent Portal. NO REGISTRATION FEE.

Drop-Ins must be scheduled in the Parent Portal at least 1 day prior to class to ensure class space is available and roll sheets are correct.

Your account will be automatically billed the $28*/class Drop-In Fee once you are added to the class roll.

The method of payment on file must be up-to-date. Balances must be settled prior to attendance at class.

* Summer Masterclasses have a separate tuition and drop-in rate.
