Janet Pichard, Executive Director
Janet Pichard was hired as the Executive Director of The Tallahassee Ballet in January 2007. She brings her business background and a lifelong passion for ballet to this position that oversees Tallahassee’s prominent dance organization.
Ms. Pichard received a Bachelor of Science Degree and a Masters Degree in Education from Florida State University. Her extensive work experience includes both the business world and ballet. She has worked in advertising and marketing as the co-owner of P&G Marketing Group, Inc., as Advertising Manager for The Tallahassee Ballet, and as an Advertising Representative for Rowland Publishing. She has been a ballet instructor since 1977 and was the owner of Dancer's Image Dance Studio. Prior to joining the staff of the Ballet, she was a ballet instructor for Sharon Davis School of Dance since 1989. She is also a former Board member of The Tallahassee Ballet and a graduate of Leadership Tallahassee Class 26.
